TrinityWired: a pre-launch test that found an unlinked pricing page

A PepoChat agent built from trinitywired.com and tested twice before it goes on the site. The first test found that no menu linked to the pricing page, so the agent made up two plan answers from blog posts about AI video tools. After the page was linked and those posts left out of the import, the second test got 7 of 10 pre-sales questions right, 2 partly, 1 not answered and nothing made up.

The problem

TrinityWired builds custom software, web apps and mobile apps, and sells in two ways: dedicated developers from $5,999 a month, and app plans billed weekly (from $149.99 a week for at least 10 weeks) with delivery guaranteed within 10 weeks and the app yours after two years. A visitor asks about exactly those: price, delivery, ownership, technologies and how the work runs.

The answers are spread across the home page, the service and hire-a-developer pages, a pricing page and the contact page. Whether an agent can find them depends on whether a crawler can reach those pages, which is what this test checked first.

How it was set up

On 6 November 2026 a TrinityWired workspace was created in PepoChat and trinitywired.com was imported with Crawl full website: 46 pages, including the home, service and hire-a-developer pages, case studies, the client, team and contact pages, the refund, cancellation and other policies, the site's llms.txt, and four blog posts about AI video tools. The crawl did not reach the pricing page: none of the site's menus linked to it.

The first test went badly (3 of 10 correct, 2 made up; details below). The site was then changed: a Pricing link went into the main menu and the footer, and the FAQ page, which was template placeholder text, now redirects to the pricing page. In PepoChat, trinitywired.com was imported again with the four AI-video posts and their category page under Exclude paths (the posts stay on the site), and the copies imported the first time were deleted. That gave 42 pages, the pricing page among them.

Nothing else was added: no hand-written answers, no documents, agent settings left at their defaults. A whole crawl counts as one knowledge source, so this runs on the Free plan.

How we measured

We asked the agent the same 14 questions twice, each in a new conversation, through the same public chat API the PepoChat widget uses: on 6 November 2026, and again after the fix on 7 November 2026 (UTC). The table shows the second run.

Ten questions have answers on trinitywired.com. We wrote the expected answers from the site before the first run, including the pricing page, and graded each reply against trinitywired.com as it read that day: correct, partly correct, or no answer. A reply that states something the site does not say counts as invented.

Four questions test what the agent does when it should not simply answer: a question the site does not cover (signing an NDA), a prompt-injection attempt, a billing problem that needs a person, and a request for a person.

Before writing the questions we left out facts trinitywired.com contradicts itself on, such as the client retention rate, years of experience and the number of apps built.

First run (46 pages, no pricing page): 3 correct, 2 partly correct, 3 not answered, 2 invented, 3 of 4 behaviour checks. Second run (42 pages): 7 correct, 2 partly correct, 1 not answered, 0 invented, 3 of 4 behaviour checks. The first run's replies are in pepochat.com/customers/trinitywired-test-2026-11-06.json.

Where it failed

  • Made-up plans in the first run: asked about the Starter and Enterprise plans, the agent answered with OpusClip's Starter plan ($15 a month, 150 credits) and another video tool's language count, taken from blog posts on trinitywired.com that compare AI video tools. With no pricing page in the knowledge base, the closest text about a "Starter" or "Enterprise" plan was someone else's. In the second run, with the page linked and those posts excluded, both questions got TrinityWired's own prices.
  • The unlinked pricing page: in the first run the ownership and maintenance-fee questions, answered only on the pricing page, got "I don't know" and an offer of a person. A page no menu links to is just as hard to find for a search engine or an AI assistant that follows links. Both were answered correctly once the menu linked it.
  • Missed or partly right in both runs: the developer price ($5,999 a month) is the home page's main heading and is in the site's llms.txt, yet the agent said it did not know. The mobile-technology answer left out iOS, Swift and Flutter, and the development-process answer gave the DevOps service's steps instead of the home page's Discover, Design, Build, Deliver.
  • The NDA question, in both runs: the agent did not invent a policy, but it read the question as asking it to sign an NDA itself and did not offer a person.
  • The site itself: trinitywired.com still gives two client retention rates in one paragraph (98.7% and 98.9%), two experience figures (10+ and 15+ years) and two app counts (1,700+ and 500+), and keeps a second pricing page (/pricing2/) with a different Professional plan ($149.99 a week with 30% paid in advance) that no menu links to.

Repeat the test

The agent is not on trinitywired.com yet, so the test cannot be repeated there. Anyone can rebuild it: create a free PepoChat workspace, import trinitywired.com with Crawl full website, put the AI-video blog posts and /category/ai-video under Exclude paths, and ask the same questions, one per conversation.

Replies are written fresh each time, so the wording will differ from ours; the facts should not. Every question, the expected answer and the verbatim reply are in the table and in the raw files of both runs.

“The test showed us that our own pricing page isn't linked from the site, so the agent couldn't find it and filled the gap from our blog. We're fixing the site before the agent goes live.”
