What counts as an AI reply

One answer the agent generates in a visitor conversation. Greetings, system messages and replies your team types from the inbox don't count. Test chats are free.

What happens at the limit

On Free, new conversations are handed to your inbox with a friendly message until the first of next month; nothing fails. On paid plans replies keep flowing at $10 per 1,000.

Seats, not surprises

Starter includes 3 members and Growth 10. Extra seats are $15 a month, prorated when you add or remove them mid-cycle.

Change your mind any time

Upgrade, downgrade or switch interval and the difference is prorated. Downgrading to Free keeps your knowledge base, conversations and settings; only the limits change.

Pricing questions, answered plainly

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan includes every feature, with monthly limits of 200 AI replies and 5 knowledge sources. There is no trial clock: it stays free for as long as you stay within the limits. Upgrade only when you outgrow them.
What counts as an AI reply, and what happens when I run out?
An AI reply is one answer the agent generates in a visitor conversation; team replies, greetings and system messages don't count, and test chats are free. On Free, reaching 200 replies hands new conversations to your inbox with a friendly message until the next calendar month. On Starter and Growth, replies keep flowing and are billed at $10 per 1,000 on the next invoice.
Which plan do I need?
Start on Free and watch the usage meters on the billing page. A site that holds a few hundred conversations a month usually fits Starter's 2,000 replies with room to spare; a busy store or a team that wants the widget white-labelled and ten seats fits Growth. You can change plan at any time and the difference is prorated.
Is anything locked behind a paid plan?
One thing: emailing your team when a new lead is captured is on Starter and Growth. Slack and webhook lead alerts, every integration, custom actions, booking, voice, meeting memory, analytics and the WordPress plugin are on every plan including Free. Growth additionally removes the “Powered by PepoChat” line from the widget.
What powers the AI answers?
Your own content. You upload documents or point PepoChat at your website; the agent retrieves from that private knowledge base and answers only with what it finds, with a human handoff when it can't. Replies are generated by OpenAI models under their standard API terms; your content is used to answer your visitors, nothing else.
Can the agent take actions, like checking an order?
Yes. Prebuilt integrations for Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho Desk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira, Slack, Discord, Mailchimp and Zapier connect with one API key or one OAuth click. Custom actions let the agent call any HTTPS API you configure. Credentials are encrypted, every action starts switched off, and you choose exactly which response fields the agent may read.
How does appointment booking work?
Connect your scheduling calendar with an API key, choose which meeting types the agent may offer, and it books real slots: timezone-aware, with confirmations and meeting links handled by your calendar. Double booking is impossible because the slot is re-validated at booking time.
Can I cancel or downgrade?
Yes. Monthly plans are month to month; yearly plans are billed up front at ten months' price. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then the workspace returns to Free with its knowledge base, conversations and settings intact. Invoices and your payment method are managed from the billing portal; PepoChat never stores your card details.
Do you offer discounts for agencies or yearly billing?
Yearly billing is ten months' price, so two months are free, and extra seats on a yearly plan are $150 a year. Agencies that set PepoChat up for clients can also earn 30% recurring through the affiliate program.
