WoodBows: a pre-launch test on 97 pages of woodbows.com
A PepoChat agent built from a full crawl of woodbows.com (97 pages) and tested before it goes on the site: 8 of 10 pre-sales questions answered correctly and 2 partly. One reply misled: asked about Spanish-speaking assistants, it answered from a blog post about other companies. The test also showed woodbows.com giving four different refund rules.

The problem
WoodBows supplies dedicated virtual assistants from the USA, the Philippines and India, sold as monthly plans by the hour, with a trial, contract terms and refund rules. A visitor deciding whether to sign up asks about exactly those: price, contract, trial, refunds, switching assistants.
The answers are on woodbows.com, but spread across a pricing page, an FAQ, a trial page, policy pages and years of blog posts, and the pages do not all agree. That is the hard case for any assistant that answers from a website, so it is worth testing before the widget goes live.
How it was set up
On 6 November 2026 a WoodBows workspace was created in PepoChat and woodbows.com was imported with Crawl full website: 97 pages, including pricing, the FAQ, the trial page, the cancellation, refund and privacy policies, the terms of use, blog posts and tag archives.
Nothing else was added: no hand-written answers, no documents, agent settings left at their defaults. A whole crawl counts as one knowledge source, so this runs on the Free plan.
How we measured
We asked the agent 14 questions on 6 November 2026, each in a new conversation, through the same public chat API the PepoChat widget uses.
Ten questions have answers on woodbows.com. We wrote the expected answers from the site before the run and graded each reply against woodbows.com as it read that day: correct, partly correct, or no answer. A reply that states something the site does not say counts as invented.
Four questions test what the agent does when it should not simply answer: a question the site does not cover, a prompt-injection attempt, a billing problem that needs a person, and a request for a person.
Before writing the questions we left out facts woodbows.com contradicts itself on, such as the phone number and the client count. The refund question turned out to be one of them.

Where it failed
- Spanish-speaking assistants: the agent answered yes, using a woodbows.com blog post that lists other virtual-assistant companies. Nothing on the site says WoodBows offers them, so the right reply was "I don't know" and an offer of a person. The fix is a one-line answer in the knowledge base about languages, or leaving list-of-competitor posts out of the import.
- The trial: the agent quoted a 7-day free trial from an older landing page that is still live, missed the current $8.99 first-task trial, and added a line about CRM trials from an unrelated blog post.
- Extra hours: the reply came from the pricing table and left out the FAQ's simpler answer.
- The site itself: woodbows.com gives four different refund rules (FAQ, cancellation policy, refund policy, terms of use), three price lists and two phone numbers. The agent repeats whichever page it finds, and so will any AI assistant that reads the site. Removing or redirecting the old pages fixes both.
Repeat the test
The agent is not on woodbows.com yet, so the test cannot be repeated there. Anyone can rebuild it: create a free PepoChat workspace, import woodbows.com with Crawl full website, and ask the same questions, one per conversation.
Replies are written fresh each time, so the wording will differ from ours; the facts should not. Every question, the expected answer and the verbatim reply are in the table and in the raw file.
“We pointed PepoChat at our own site and it answered our pricing and policy questions from our pages. It also showed us where those pages contradict each other, which we want fixed before visitors see it.”
