HubSpot
Find a contact by email to answer account questions and create a ticket when a person must follow up.
With HubSpot connected the agent finds a contact by email to answer account questions and creates a ticket when a person needs to follow up.
What the agent can do
| Action | What it does | Inputs collected |
|---|---|---|
| Find HubSpot contact | Finds the contact record by the account email and reads their name. | |
| Create HubSpot ticket | Creates a ticket in the default pipeline with a subject and the details. | Subject, details |
Connect in one click
If Connect HubSpot is shown under App Integrations → HubSpot, click it and approve access to contacts and tickets on HubSpot's consent screen. Both actions are created and enabled.
Connect with a key
Create a Service Key
In HubSpot go to Settings → Integrations → Service Keys and create a key with exactly these scopes:
crm.objects.contacts.read,crm.objects.tickets.read,crm.objects.tickets.write. Without the tickets write scope, creating a ticket fails with a MISSING_SCOPES error. A legacy private app token (pat-…) with the same scopes also works.Paste it into PepoChat
Open App Integrations → HubSpot, paste the key, tick the actions and click Add actions.
Test, then enable
Test the contact lookup with a known email, then switch the actions on.
Good to know
- Tickets are created in pipeline
0, stage1(HubSpot's default support pipeline). If your portal uses a different pipeline, edit the create action's body. - One-click connections are limited in number until HubSpot approves the PepoChat app; if the button is missing, use the key.
